As a young DJ, I was introduced to the club scene, performing at nightclubs, university raves and daytimers. But I quickly realised I could bring something different. While many DJs focused purely on playing music, I combined my sets with the microphone. Building energy, connecting with the crowd and hyping the dance floor became my signature. Something which has stuck with me to this day.
That approach eventually led to me being headhunted by Kudos Music. At the time, the team was just a handful of DJs: the founder DJ H, Jas Johal, Rajeev B, Aman K and DJ Manny. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to take my signature style of versatile mixing and crowd interaction to events across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Although Bhangra and Bollywood are deep-rooted in my musical DNA, I’m heavily influenced by House, Motown, Funk, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, R&B, Hip Hop and everything in between.
Having performed for Greek, Tamil, Mauritian and many other diverse audiences, my music library has grown far beyond one genre or culture.
I know how to read the room. I know my music. I know how to work a crowd. And when you book me for one of your biggest celebrations, I’m there to make sure the dance floor comes alive.

Their mixing and track choices were flawless, I'd asked if we could blend multiple genres, and they pulled it off perfectly. Every transition felt seamless, and they somehow managed to move effortlessly between everything from Bollywood / Punjabi to house, to old-school classics to hits to dance tracks.
They completely understood the crowd and struck the perfect balance between music for all generations, everyone was on the dance floor until the very end. On the first night, we hadn't even planned for much dancing, but the music was so good that people just couldn't stay seated! I had so many guests come up to say how much they loved the music. Dj H and Chonkz ran the music program for my wedding, it went across 4 events and 3 days, and the guys absolutely crushed it. First and foremost all my guests loved the music, enjoyed the dance floors, and they all want to book H and Chonkz for their events now. More than just the music, H and Chonkz did so many little things throughout the week that elevated them from a vendor to part of the fabric of our event. For one event we didn't have professional AV, and despite not being contracted for the event, H and Chonkz came anyway and set up the Bluetooth speakers, found a playlist and helped set the vibe. One night we had guests come to a local bar, wasn't a formal event and H and Chonkz weren't obligated to be there but they came anyway, and ended up giving the local Greek DJ a bunch of Desi tracks to play, created a scene out of a movie! We hired DJ Chonkx and DJ Arvee, they were really professional, warm and friendly. They understood what we wanted for our 3 day Indian wedding in Portugal and they were punctual, did sound checks before and have strong communication with us, our planners and our guests. We had DJ Chonkx and DJ Itch play across three nights at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing. Their mixing and track choices were flawless, I'd asked if we could blend multiple genres, and they pulled it off perfectly. Every transition felt seamless, and they somehow managed to move effortlessly between everything from Bollywood / Punjabi to house, to old-school classics to hits to dance tracks.
They completely understood the crowd and struck the perfect balance between music for all generations, everyone was on the dance floor until the very end. On the first night, we hadn't even planned for much dancing, but the music was so good that people just couldn't stay seated! I had so many guests come up to say how much they loved the music. Honestly, one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. Can't recommend them enough.

Dj H and Chonkz ran the music program for my wedding, it went across 4 events and 3 days, and the guys absolutely crushed it. First and foremost all my guests loved the music, enjoyed the dance floors, and they all want to book H and Chonkz for their events now. More than just the music, H and Chonkz did so many little things throughout the week that elevated them from a vendor to part of the fabric of our event. For one event we didn't have professional AV, and despite not being contracted for the event, H and Chonkz came anyway and set up the Bluetooth speakers, found a playlist and helped set the vibe. One night we had guests come to a local bar, wasn't a formal event and H and Chonkz weren't obligated to be there but they came anyway, and ended up giving the local Greek DJ a bunch of Desi tracks to play, created a scene out of a movie! These guys know their stuff and are amazing people and professionals. 100/10 would recommend!! Great recommendation from sjsevents!
